Georgia in winter is amazing, Svaneti in winter is amazing, Mestia in winter is amazing. Today I am at Hatsvali Ski Resort, similar to Tetnuldi ski resort but a lot more remote. In fact, Mestia is one of the most remote villages in Europe. I try skiing for the first time in Svaneti Georgia. You might not think of Svaneti as a ski destination. But due to the remoteness, the quality of the snow is great. Skiing In Mestia or Skiing in Svaneti is great. The Svaneti region in Georgia is located deep in the Caucasus mountains. You have spectacular scenery, great powder snow, and of course amazing Georgian food. Svaneti food is delicious and after skiing I sit down at one of the best places to eat in Mestia to eat a Georgian Svaneti food feast! I loved my time in Mestia Svaneti Georgia.
