Madeira Portugal is full of authentic local food. Madeira food is traditional, simple, high quality and delicious and you won't have to go far to find espetda in Madeira. Funchal is not the best place for espetada in Madeira, most of the places are pretty touristy, but this restaurant is an exception. tucked away 10 mins by bus outside of the center of Funchal, this Funchal restaurant is a must eat on your trip. Eat like locals in Madeira, where you get to cook your own kebab over the wood fire. Espetada is essentially a Madeira beef kebab or beef skewer. But you can have it with any more or sausages. It is traditional Madeira food and found all over the island, from restaurants, to people's homes. Portugal food doesn't get better than this. I filmed at this place 2 years ago on my Joe Parrilla Madeira channel, so it is definitely time to refresh and visit this place again.
